This image shows the Young Men's Christian Association Basketball Team for 1957-58 at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967) at Broome-Kirk Gymnasium, built 1955. Image shows, in the first row, Carroll Daniels, Ronald Shelton, Morris Walker, Danny Hefner, and in the second row, Nixon Williams, Rex Yates, Donald Phillips, Dan Perry, and Richard Moser. The YMCA began at Appalachian State in 1933, and met in Justice Hall, built 1952. This image appears in the 1958 Rhododendron (p. 118).
