This image shows the Homecoming football game between the Appalachian State Mountaineers and Catawba College Indians on October 18, 1958 on College Field at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967). A small group of players and referees can be seen standing in the center of the image. The second Administration Building, built 1924, and audience members sitting on bleachers or standing by the fence can be seen in the background. Appalachian won the game 6-0.
