Lovill Home

Description

This image shows the first Lovill Home, built in 1906, at Appalachian Training School. It served as a women's dormitory and housed 85 women. In included two society halls, two sitting rooms, and two study rooms. It became known as Lovill Home Annex after the second Lovill Home was completed in 1915 and was used primarily as housing during the summer terms. The first Administration Building, built in 1905, can be seen on the right.
