This image shows one of the football practice sessions of the 1957-58 Mountaineer team during the fall season of 1957 at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967). They are practicing in Red Lackey Field, and Watauga County Hospital, built 1932, and Hagaman Hall, built 1952, can be seen in the background.
