Homecoming Parade, 1957, band

This image shows one of the participating bands marching down King Street in the Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967) Homecoming parade on October 26, 1957. Ten local bands participated in the parade. The parade also included twenty floats by campus organizations and businesses, and coincided during the first winter snowfall.
