This image shows the Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967)1956-57 basketball team playing Lenoir-Rhyne College in Broome-Kirk Gymnasium, built 1955. An ASTC basketball player can be seen throwing the ball towards the basket, while a Lenoir-Rhyne player attempts to block. The audience can be seen in the background sitting on bleachers.
