Square Dance, 1957, photo 4

This image shows a square dance on April 1, 1957, at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967). Dance was reportedly given by Dr. Winette L. Hargrove, professor of music at Appalachian State. Students can be seen dancing in two circles in one of the campus gymnasiums. This image appears in the 1958 Rhododendron (p. 39).
