Commencement, 1973, luncheon, Charles Crutchfield

This image shows Charles Crutchfield addressing a group of people during a luncheon at Appalachian State University (1967-current). The Luncheon was held in Welborn Cafeteria, built 1925, and was held on August 19, 1973, on the day of summer commencement. Charles Crutchfield was an radio broadcaster and program manager from 1923, working at Radio WBT in North Carolina and other stations until his retirement in 1977.
