Commencement, 1968, underclassmen

This image shows underclassmen heading into the Varsity Gymnasium for commencement in 1968 at Appalachian State University (1969-current). A security guard holds the door open as students enter the building in caps and gowns. It was one of the first graduating classes of Appalachian State as an official university.
