This image shows the Women's Symposium at the Center for Continuing Education in the Broyhill Inn, built 1972. A group of women can be seen seated in chairs around a room, and one woman is standing in the background behind a podium. It was sponsored by the Women's Resource Center, started in 1974 by the Counseling Center, and included programs on assertiveness training, consciousness raising, personal growth, eating disorders, and rape awareness.
