This image shows four employees working in the Placement Office at Appalachian State University (1967-current). They are seated around an office, two at desks, one by a file cabinet in the background. The Placement Office was located in the Administration Building Annex, built 1932, now Founder's Hall, and served to help alumni and graduating students to locate jobs. It used connections with other universities, state and local governments, and industries to provide students with updates on job vacancies, certification and license requirements, and examinations. It also offered computer placement services and arranged interviews.
