Description

This image shows a Home Economics class meeting in 1956-57 in the Home Economics Building, formerly the first Administration Building, built 1905. Students are seen in the background taking notes, while a teacher sits behind a desk to the left. By 1956, the Department of Home Economics had courses for undergraduate and graduate programs, and advanced classes in nutrition and institutional management. This image appears in the 1957 Rhododendron (p. 19).
