Description

This image shows the yearbook photograph of J. Bunyan Love of Newton, North Carolina. He attended Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967) and graduated in 1930 with a bachelor of science degree. He served as manager of the football and basketball teams during his junior year, as well as serving as president of the Appalachian Literary Society, president and treasurer of the Athletic Association, president of the Catawba County Club, and president of the Letter Club. This image was reproduced from the 1930 Rhododendron (p. 28) in 1956.
