Class of 1930, Beverly R. Heavner

This image shows the yearbook photograph of Beverly R. Heavner of Vale, North Carolina. He attended Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967) and graduated in 1930 with a bachelor of science degree. He served as secretary, vice-president, and president of the Rankin-Wilson Literary Society, president of the junior class, president of the Lincoln County Club, treasurer of the Athletic Association, and business manager of the Rhododendron. This image was reproduced from the 1930 Rhododendron (p. 27) in 1956.
