This image shows Jim Kiser, Bob Jones, two members of the Mountaineer football team of 1954-55, around head coach E. C. Duggins (center) on College Field at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967). College Field was located south of the Administration Building, built 1924, approximately where Rankin Science Hall was later built in 1963. This image appears in "The Appalachian" on September 9, 1955.
