Football Players, 1955-56, John Garwood and Jim Kiser

This image shows an unknown man and Jim Kiser, two members of the Mountaineer football team of 1955-56 on College Field at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967). College Field was located south of the Administration Building, built 1924, approximately where Rankin Science Hall was later built in 1963. The John A. Garwood Hall (formerly the CAP Building) is named for John Garwood.
