This image shows a member of the Mountaineer football team of 1953-54, on College Field at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967). College Field was located south of the Administration Building, built 1924, seen in teh background, approximately where Rankin Science Hall was later built in 1963. Chapell Wilson Hall, built 1938, is visible to the left.
