This image shows Rick Lippard and Joe Garwood, members of the Mountaineer football team of 1955-56, on College Field at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967). College Field was located south of the Administration Building, built 1924, approximately where Rankin Science Hall was later built in 1963.
