This image shows Jim Olis on College Field in front of the Men's Gymnasium, built 1934. Jim Olis was a member of the Mountaineer football team of 1953-54 at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967). College Field was located south of the Administration Building, built 1924, approximately where Rankin Science Hall was later built in 1963.
