Description

This image shows the newly initiated members of Beta Beta Beta Fraternity in February 1955. The national biological honor society chapter was started at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967) in 1954. From left to right, the image shows Taylor Green, Don Roberts, Chris Elliott, James McGee, Mary Elizabeth Hyler, Dick Lavendar, Doris Ann Gore, Margaret Goodman, Barbara Greene, Helen Brown, and Bill Stanley. Other new members not shown are Lester Dixon and Frank Brown. This image appears in "The Appalachian" on February 11, 1955.
