Homecoming Parade, 1955, photo 2

This image shows the Homecoming parade in October 1955. A parade float carrying a woman in a white evening dress passes in front of Dauph-Blan Hall, built 1929, on the Promenade. The float has a large partial white football on the top. In the background to the right, Halloween decorations can be seen, including a collection of white crosses planted in front of Dauph-Blan, with a stuffed scarecrow lying on the ground next to them. The northeastern side of the Administration Building, built 1924, can be seen at the left.
