Playcrafters, "Just Off Picadilly," 1954

Each year at Homecoming, the Playcrafters, the dramatic club at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967) since 1934, produce three short one-act plays. This image shows a scene from the play "Just off Picadilly," performed in October 1954. The play included playcrafters Charles Hancock, Betty Sue Norris, and Otis Caroll, and was directed by Jackie Snyder. The play was performed in the auditorium in the second Administration Building, built 1924. This image appears in "The Appalachian" on October 1, 1954.
