Description

This image shows one of the freshmen vesper programs in 1955, which was part of the orientation program. Student and varsity cheerleader Bill Honeycutt, standing, can be seen leading a number of spiritual songs featured in the program. This image was taken at "Three Coins" park, located across the street from the second Administration Building, built 1924, and next to the Women's Gymnasium, built 1924, visible to the right. The building to the left is Dauph-Blan Hall, built 1929, and visible in the middle is White Hall, built 1924. This iamge appears in "The Appalachian" on September 16, 1955.
