Title

Students on Promenade, circa 1954

Description

This image shows a group of students spread out on the Promenade in front of Dauph-Blan Hall, a women's dormitory built in 1929. The western end of the south side of the building can be seen in the background, and the northern side of the Administration Building, built 1924, can be seen to the left. Several students are standing on the Promenade, also known as Dauph-Blan Drive, in front of a parked car, while others are standing on the steps up to the dormitory, watching those in the street. Two clumps of students are seen walking along the sidewalk towards the Administration Building. This image appears in the 1954 Rhododendron (p. 32).
