Description

This image shows four of the six Playcrafters, the dramatic club at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967), performing in the January 1954 production of "Home of the Brave," a World War II drama about a Jewish soldier's experience in the South Pacific. Seen are Michael Harrelson ("Finch"), Charles Hales ("Coney"), Jerry Young ("Maj. Dennis Robinson Jr."), and Ed Collins ("T. J."). The rifles are Enfield-1917s.
