This image shows Homecoming Queen Martha Watkins being crowned on the football field, known as College Field, south of the second Administration building, built 1924, seen in background, along with the eastern end of Smith-Wright Hall, built 1940. The band and students can be seen in the background on the bleachers on the edge of the field.
