This image shows coach Francis Hoover (center) with two Appalachian State basketball players for 1952-53 in the Men's Gymnasium, built 1934, at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967). To the left is Ralph Hodges and to the right is Arville Stanley. This image appears in the January 9, 1953 edition of "The Appalachian" (p. 4).
