D. D. Dougherty Library, entrance extension, photo 2

Description

This image shows the newly constructed eastern (front) entrance to the D. D. Dougherty Library in 1963. Students can be seen on the entering and exiting the building. The building was originally constructed in 1935 and served as the campus library for ATSC until 1969 when the first Belk Library opened. Photograph was taken from the northeast.
