Administration Building, second, fire aftermath, interior

This image shows the interior of one of the offices after the fire in the second Administration Building at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967) on December 29, 1966. Image shows some furniture that survived, as well as fire damage to the room. The building had been built in 1924, and was located on the Promenade, facing southeast, approximately where the first Belk Library, built 1968, is located.
