Smith-Wright Hall Renovation, 1964, photo 2

This image shows a hole in a cinderblock wall in Smith-Wright Hall, built 1940, at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967) during its renovation in 1964. Smith-Wright Hall served as the science building until the completion of Rankin Science Building in 1963. It then housed the Departments of Business Education, Mathematics, and Speech.
