Description

This image shows a widened doorway with several cinderblocks removed at the top during the renovation of Smith-Wright Hall, built 1940, at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967) in 1964. Office furniture and a man can be seen in the background. Smith-Wright Hall served as the science building until the completion of Rankin Science Building in 1963. It then housed the Departments of Business Education, Mathematics, and Speech.
