Description

This image shows John Alfred Pritchett, associate professor in the Department of Education at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967) in 1965. Pritchett began working at Appalachian State in 1955, where he organized the Department of Audio-Visual Education, later the Department of Library Science. He served as the first director of the Audio-Visual Center, and was first official University Photographer. He retired in 1991. This image appears in the 1966 Rhododendron (p. 37).
