Description

This image shows Adult Education project members sitting at a conference table at Appalachian State University (1967-current) in June 1970. Appalachian State was awarded a planning grant of $8,559 to develop a project to evaluate techniques used in adult education and determine the most effective teaching methods. The project was directed by Leland Cooper, professor in the Department of Supervision, Administration, and Higher Education, seen in the center. It was funded by the U.S. Department of Education.
