Home Economics Staff, Janice Robertson, circa 1961

This image shows Janice Marie Robertson, an instructor in the Department of Home Economics at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967) in the 1960s. Robertson began teaching at Appalachian State in 1961. Miss Robertson later became Dr. Janice Whitener a Professor of Home Economics and the wife of Mr. Rogers Whitener, Professor of English.
