Description

This image shows Earleen Pritchett, administrative assistant to the president at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967), holding a certificate announcing her reappointment as state United Nations chairman for 1963. Mrs. Pritchett served from 1947 to 1955 as secretary to J. D. Rankin, dean of the College, and assistant director of placement. She became administrative assistant to the president in 1961 and retired in 1972. United Nations Week was held during October 20-26.
