This image shows John MacBryde, associate professor in the Department of English in the College of Arts and Sciences at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967) in 1965. MacBryde began teaching at Appalachian State in 1962 and retired in 1974. This image appears in the 1966 Rhododendron (p. 28).
