This image shows Isabel Jones, professor in the Department of Education at Appalachian State University (1967-current) in the 1960s. She can be seen sitting at a desk in an office. Jones began teaching in public schools in Virginia in 1931, and began teaching at Appalachian State in 1953 and retired in 1977.
