This image shows Library Director W. L. Eury and Biology Professor Frank Randall standing next to a framed landscape painting in D. D. Dougherty Library, built 1935, at Appalachian State University (1967-current) in the 1960s. Eury worked at the library at Appalachian State since 1929, and served as library director from 1945 to 1970. Professor John Frank Randall taught biology at Appalachian State from 1957 until retirement in 1989.
