This image shows Vice-President and Comptroller David Barnard Dougherty (1955-1965) sitting in an office in the second Administration Building, built 1924, at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967) in 1963. Dougherty served as business manager from 1938 to 1955, and as vice-president of the College from 1955 until 1965.
