Description

This image shows William Conrad, a member of the Board of Trustees at Appalachian State University (1967-current), sitting with former President William Howard Plemmons (1955-1969) after the August commencement ceremonies in Varsity Gymnasium, built 1968, on August 15, 1970. Conrad was awarded an honorary Doctor of Commercial Science degree by the University. Conrad served as a Trustee from 1941 to 1967.
