Home Economics Faculty, Lucy Brock, circa 1962

This image shows Lucy Brock, professor and chairman of the Department of Home Economics in the College of Fine and Applied Arts at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967) in the 1960s. Lucy Brock came to Appalachian State in 1938, and served as head of the Department of Home Economics for 21 years, from 1940 until her retirement in 1961.
