This image shows a group of faculty and staff at a banquet held at Welborn Cafeteria, built 1925, at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967) during the mid-1960s. Director of Public Affairs Bob Allen can be seen on the left and the woman in the center is Mary (Mrs. Bob) Allen. Bob Allen started working as director of Foundations, Public Relations, and News Bureau in 1960.
