This image shows the members of the Ad-Mins Club at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967) standing outside one of the campus buildings during a June meeting in the early 1960s. Marge Breitenstein, club president and wife of Mr. Robert Breitenstein, can be seen standing in the front row on the left. Following Mrs. Breitenstein from left to right: Elizabeth Randall (wife of Dr. Robert Randall), Ann Riggsby, and Wade Brown (Mayor of Boone). The Ad-Mins Club was composed of the wives of Appalachian State faculty and administrators. Second row: third from the left is Faye Meredith (wife of Mr. Dean Meredith - Registrar), fourth from the left is Flo Steckel (wife of Dr. Frank Steckel). seventh from the left Bebe Denton (wife of Dr. A.M. Denton), and eight from the left is Lois Strickland (wife of Dr. Ben Strickland).
