This image shows Ahmed al-Haggagi, associate professor and chairman of the Department of Philosophy and Religion in the College of Arts and Sciences at Appalachian State University (1967-current) in 1978-79. Al-Haggagi began teaching at Appalachian State in 1976. A similar image appears in the 1978-79 Faculty Pictorial Directory (p. 17).
