This image shows Nicholas Erneston, music professor and dean of the College of Fine and Applied Arts at Appalachian State University (1967-current) for 1974-75. Erneston was a professor in the music department from 1948 until his retirement in 1992, and served as dean of the College of Fine and Applied Arts since 1968. A similar image appears in the 1974-75 Faculty Pictorial Directory (p. 25).
