This image shows L. F. Edwards, chairman of the Department of Art in the College of Fine and Applied Arts at Appalachian State University (1967-current) for 1974-75. He can be seen holding a bowling pin. The Art Department was one of the first departments at Appalachian State and is located in the College of Fine and Applied Arts. It includes concentrations in clay, drawing, fibers, metals/jewelry, painting, photography, printmaking and sculpture.
