This image shows Roy Carroll, chairman of the Department of History in the College of Arts and Sciences at Appalachian State University (1967-current) for 1974-75. The Department of History provides programs leading to a Bachelor of Arts in History, Bachelor of Science in Teaching and Social Science Education, and a non-teaching Bachelor of Science degree, and Master's in History, History Education, and Public History, as well as general education courses.
