Description

This image shows the faculty of the Department of Speech in the College of Fine and Applied Arts at Appalachian State University (1967-current) for 1974-75. Seen, in the front row, are T. V. Hall, C. H. Dorgan, T. W. Cole, J. Mesbahee, and in the second row, J. T. Auston, P. M. Rose, L. F. Welden, and C. E. Porterfield. The Department of Speech constituted the speech communication and theatre programs, and included broadcasting, public address, the University Theatre and student radio station, WASU-FM. This image appears in the 1974-75 Faculty Pictorial Directory (p. 31).
