This image shows three members of Watauga College at Appalachian State University (1967-current) for 1975-76. The woman on the left is R. Margaret McFadden. Watauga College was founded in 1972 as a living/learning residential college within Appalachian State and was an alternative to the general education program for freshmen and sophomores.
