Description

This image shows Professors David French, Virginia Linney and Nicholas Erneston at a desk at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967) in April 1962. Professor David French, director of the Playcrafters, can be seen standing on the left, and Virginia Linney and Nicholas Erneston of the Department of Music are on the right. Linney is holding up a score book for "South Pacific." The Department of Music and the Playcrafters performed the musical "South Pacific" in May 1962.
